The Autograph
Melissa was the pop singer’s biggest fan. She had all his CD’s, and his posters plastered the walls of her bedroom like a mini shrine.
When she finally managed to get her idol’s autograph, she could hardly wait to show it off to her best friend, Stephanie.
She was going to be so jealous!
Stephanie came over to Melissa’s house. She squinted at the framed signature on the bedroom wall. It was written on a wrinkly, rough-edged yellowish rectangle.
“What’s that he signed on?” Stephanie asked.
Melissa touched the bloody bandage above her breast, smiled and shrugged.
